Welcome to the Digital Psychology Forum 2026: International Joint Research Symposium.
This event is held in response to rapid digital transformation and the need for effective user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design as a vital element in shaping how humans interact with technology in daily life. Therefore, the Digital Psychology Forum 2026: International Joint Research Symposium (IJRS) adopts the theme:
“Risks and opportunities of digital interactions for people’s wellbeing”
In response to the challenges outlined by this whole theme, Digital Psychology Forum 2026: IJRS features two main sessions: a student research competition and a scientific symposium. Furthermore, this event is co-hosted by Bina Nusantara University, RMIT Vietnam, and Asia Pacific University to broaden its global impact.
Students Research Competition
The competition in the Digital Psychology Forum 2026 unfolds through several structured stages. The journey begins with a proposal selection phase through the submission of digital psychology-themed abstracts on August 3, 2026. Participants who pass the initial screening then advance to the next round to submit a scientific poster and a video presentation. The top three finalist teams from Bina Nusantara University, RMIT Vietnam, and Asia Pacific University will have the opportunity to deliver an oral presentation of their research at the culminating event of the Digital Psychology Forum 2026: IJRS on October 7, 2026.
Digital Psychology Symposium
Digital Psychology Forum 2026: IJRS also features Professor Andrew J. Campbell from the University of Sydney as the keynote speaker. Prof. Andrew J. Campbell is an academic and researcher in the fields of cyberpsychology, digital mental health, and the application of technology to support human well-being. Through this session, participants are expected to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and innovations in the field of Digital Psychology. Following Prof. Andrew J. Campbell’s presentation, the event will proceed with a panel discussion featuring panelists from all three universities:
- Esther Widhi Andangsari – Head of Psychology Department, Faculty of Humanities, Bina Nusantara University
- Dhevaania C. Gendsen – Programme Leader, School of Psychology, Asia Pacific University
- Duy Tran Hoang Le – Psychology Lecturer, RMIT Vietnam
The culminating symposium of the Digital Psychology Forum 2026: IJRS will take place on October 7, 2026, The event will commence at 9:00 AM and will be held entirely online, free of charge for students. The entire program, including both the scientific symposium and the research competition, is conducted fully online and is free of charge for participating university students.
